Never Saw It

Mosha Folger draws a narrative arc with spoken word and song; from his Inuit ancestors hunting seals to leaving his Arctic home to the glimmer of hope he sees for the future of his people. Mosha's unique perspective reveals a culture and way of life far removed from the romantic notions of igloos and naked men running across the sea ice. Mosha has featured at over a dozen shows and performed at slams and open mics in Ottawa and Vancouver since December of 2005. He has garnered renown for his intimate, personal work, but Mosha doesn't shy away from making his opinion known. Never Saw It is part poetry and music, part biography, and part polemic. It is a brief history of an Inuk lifetime.
